[HANASHIR:10216] Re: Nephew's Bar Mitzvah



Shalom,
   A beautiful Bar/Bat Mitzvah that I sing when the Rabbi Blesses the child 
in front of the Ark, but could be used as an opening song is Andrea Jill 
Higgin's "A Child is Called".    It is from  "A Call to Prayer"  with 3 solo 
songs (Medium Voice).  There is piano or organ accompaniment.  You can 
purchase it from Transcontinental, #991286.  It brings tears to many a 
parent, because of the beautiful music  and words.  It is in English.  It is 
a must for every soloist!!!
