This is entirely up to those who post messages. I reiterate my request,
as list-owner, that subscribers NOT post messages with attachments. This
doesn't happen on other lists because they are probably moderated and
the moderator doesn't let the problem messages through. Hanashir is
unmoderated because the volume of messages requires too much time to vet
each one for approval before posting. So the list must be self-policing.
However, we are in a cusp at the moment, I would suggest that there is
as much validity to the argument that people upgrade their e-mail
software to handle rich text as there is that people only send emssages
in plain text (which most e-mail software dooes NOT default to anymore,
and the typicla user probably doesn't know how to change this. So
understanding from both sides is needed. Along with judicious use of the
delete key.)
