One more comment re Mi Chamocha / Mi Kamocha.  A friend of mine who's a former 
baal kriah says, "Shirat Hayam is filled with exceptions to grammatical rules, 
apparently showing that the song is in the vernacular -- just the way the 
common people spoke."
