Larry, this sounds like an ambitious undertaking  for this age group if done
only with music.  If you have the freedom to do so, I would make the
suggestion that you incorporate art, storytelling with pictures,
role-playing, basic vocabulary, etc.  focusing on broad concepts, characters
and story.  Please keep us informed as to how the course unfolds.
