I'm happy, as list owner, to assist. But it would sure help out if
subscribers could manage those tasks for themselves that the list allows and
are described in the information one receives when one signs up for the
list.

To change your mail to digest form simply send the command

set hanashir mail digest

to listproc (at) shamash(dot)org

Make sure you send it from the primary subscribed email address or it will
not work.

Other options available:

set hanashir mail postpone

will halt your mail for vacations, etc. but you will get everything when you
reset the postpone command by sending

set hanashir mail

which restores your subcription to its existing settings or turns off digest
mode.


Other mail options are ack or noack (whether or not you receive copies of
your own messages from the list)

You can change you subscription email address, as long as you send this
command from you existing subscription address:

set hanashir ADDress hanashir <new address>

The command

set hanashir

with no other arguments will return your current list settings.

Sending the command:

help topics

will get a list of topics on which help is available.

Then to get help on a pareticular topic, send

help <topic>

To unsubscribe

unsubscribe hanashir
