[HANASHIR:9145] Re: Proper topics for HN List

Jerry,

I submit respectfully that Jewish laws about Jewish music ARE issues of Jewish music, and that these issues are (obviously) interesting to some, if not many, of us.

I suspect most of us find one thread or another to be irrelevant, boring, and/or irritating. But for you, such a thread might be A, and for me it might be B.

Do all of those who drop out dislike the same topics? How much time does it take to hit the "trash" button?

Kol tuv,
Andy

Dear Friends...

I do certainly appreciate the conversations l'shem shamayim, but I must
emphasize the importance of keeping this listserve limited to issues of
Jewish music and the Hava Nashira program itself.

Many people have already dropped out of the listserve because they are
finding their email filled with extraneous (though sometimes very
interesting) notes and can't afford the time to read them.

Please help us in this regard.

Thank you

Jerry Kaye
