Subject: [HANASHIR:8968] FYI: Conference on Alternatives in Jewish Education

Hi All,
My daughter asked me to forward this message to all of you folks. Please
pass it on to any college age people that you know.
Barbara Stambler

You're invited to participate in CAJE 26, the 26th annual Conference on
Alternatives in Jewish Education. This summer, August 2-9, join a select
group of peers at CAJE and have the opportunity to participate in special
sessions designed for college students, in addition to learning and
celebrating with the entire group of 2,000.

This is a wonderful opportunity for people interested in becoming Jewish
educators, rabbis or cantors, or anyone who loves to learn and have a good
time. To participate you must be going into your sophomore, junior or senior
year in college this fall. Accepted participants pay travel expenses (or get
their Hillel, home synagogue, or place of work to pay!) & CAJE membership
fees ($36). CAJE pays all other conference fees ($800), including room and
board. Applications can be found on the CAJE web site at www.caje.org and
are due June 1.
