[HANASHIR:8632] How do I start out songleading?

Hello everyone...I rarely post messages to the list..I just read the 
messages and try to learn.

I decided a few years back that I wanted to be a songleader...I always loved 
the singing and music at camp, Hillel, etc... So I took up the guitar and 
started playing for family and friends. I've been playing the guitar for a 
few years, I've memorized much of the Shireinu chordster, I've songlead for 
gatherings of family and friends, and I even had one interesting experience 
with trying to teach kids of many different ages at a neighborhood function 
(it didn't work well!).

So here's my question: how do I "jump into" songleading? Where's the best 
place to start? A camp? A hebrew school? All advice is appreciated...

Also, is the annual Hava Nashira meeting geared more towards experienced 
songleaders, or "fresh meat," like myself?  :-)
