[HANASHIR:8236] Re: Kol Isha

Marsha made a good point when she noted that the Kol Isha issue varies from
one Orthodox shul to another, even Modern Orthodox. The rabbi in the Modern
Orthodox day school where I teach seems to enjoy hearing me sing and often
has a compliment to offer. In another Modern Orthodox shul I have been
pulled away from the microphone by the rabbi at a wedding, where I had
understood that the music had been cleared by the bride.
