[HANASHIR:8065] Re: College A Cappella Music

How about Erets Shiv'at Haminim (Land of the Seven Fruits). Linda Hirschhorn
has a great arrangement of it on her "Behold" CD or there's another nice
arrangement by Gil Aldema. ("A Vocal Array" available from Jewishmusic.com. -
lots of other stuff in this book too...)

Hi folks,

My boyfriend is running a college a cappella group in Austin,
Texas, and we're looking for some Jewish upbeat a cappella music
that would appeal to college audiences that are mostly not Jewish.
If you know of any popular songs that were rewritten in Hebrew
or something even done by a famous Jewish artist that's funny
and upbeat, please let me know.

He's looking for something upbeat and fun to sing. They don't
have much time, so a quick response would be much appreciated.

Thanks,
