The lyrics to the calypso song "shake shake shake sonora" are:
1. Let's all build us a Sukkah (clap clap)
I tell you now it's a Mitzvah (clap clap)
We'll fill it with decorations (clap)
And give our praise to all G-d's creations
Shvu ba-sukkah
Sit in your Sukkah ( I know, it's a mitzvah)
Shvu ba-Sukkah
Sit in your Sukkah
And-shake, shake,shake your Lulav
Shake it up and down,
And, shake,shake,shake your lulav
Shake it all around
Hold, hold, hold your etrog
In the other hand,
And shake,shake,shake your lulav
Shake it all around
2.. Let's all sit in the Sukkah (clap clap)
Together with the Mish-pa-cha (clap,clap)
We'll all eat around a big table (clap)
And even sleep there-if we are able
Shvu ba-sukkah...
Shake,shake...
The lyrics were written by Shirona and the title of the song is "Jump in the
Line"
not "shake shake shake sonora" and can be found on Harry Belafonte's-All Time
Greatest Hits volume 1.
