[HANASHIR:6557] tisha b'av

I've always thought of Tisha B'av as a day that we take away some of our
comforts. We sit on the floor to hear Aichah (Lamentations) and usually
light the room with small candles, not bright lights. We (traditionally)
don't eat. In terms of songs, I think that mournful songs are quite
appropriate and tear at the heart in a spiritual way. But I think using
instruments would be too much, and taking away the accompaniement is the
perfect way to add to the somber atmosphere.
