[HANASHIR:6431] Re: Certification of Synagogue Musicians



Adrian and others-

Keep in mind that I am a lurker on this list--  I read and and share because
of a love of Jewish music and love different kinds of music in my home and
synagogue.

I think Adrian's idea is spectacular--  I know when I got the title R.J.E.
it meant a great deal to me-
I believe there should be an organization of Synagogue musicians and some
standards  should apply.

May I suggest you talk about this even more and perhaps at next years HN you
try and pass some kind of resolution to this effect.

It certainly can add some yichus to a congregation...
