[HANASHIR:5913] RE: Copyright Issues

This seems like a good time to remind everyone of a few things:

1. Web resources on copyright issues are listed and linked from the Hava
Nashira web site's links page. Visit http://uahc.org/hanashir/

2. It is the avowed policy of this list to encourage full respect for
copyright and appropriate citation at all times.

3. The idea of a "Jewish Music Clearinghouse" is still being tossed around
by a few of us. If you have any interest or input on that project, pelase
email me privately.

4. The Hanashir List, in conjunction with this CAJE Music Network, is
embarking on a copyright education campaign for Jewish Educators and
Institutions starting at this summer's CAJE Conference at Hofstra. We hope
you will all join us in this effort.
