[HANASHIR:5560] Re: Moving on

For preschoolers and early elementary, I'd recommend:

--Jacki Silberg's "Where Is Baby Moses"

--Building Cities ("Bang, bang, bang, hold your hammer low...")

--Listen King Pharaoh

--Kadima ("Kadima, boom, boom, boom, kadima...")

--Karen Daniel's "The Beautiful Seder Plate"

--Ellen and Peter Allard's "Lotsa Lotsa Matzah" (I've got a 2nd grade class
singing this one at the April Family Shabbat service)

--Jill Moskowitz' "Moses" ("Moses was a shepherd...")

--Jill's "I'm Gonna Find It"

--Debbie Friedman's "Seder Table"!!!!!! (they love it!)

--Sally Heckelman's "Let My People Go" (melody: I've Been Working on the RR)

--Have them dance to a Mi Chamocha, or sing the ya-la's to Debbie's melody
(or mine!)

--Dayenu (Hebrew and English for the youngest ones):
"Had God given us the Shabbat
   Only given us the Shabbat,
It would have been enough, the Shabbat,
   Dayenu."

"Had God given us the Torah...

"Had God taken us from Egypt,
    Only taken us from Egypt,
Had God taken us from Egypt
    Dayenu."

And the kids still adore The Frog Song. Perhaps it's the rubber frogs I
bring in for them to play with... -- Carol
