Reform Judaism is, in my observation, no less traditional in its worship
than is Orthodox Judaism; it's just that the tradition is different.

Come on ..lets not pretend to ignore history...Reform tried to recreate the
same style in prayer that was occurring in the churches of the neighbors of
the Jews in Germany and now in America. There is hardly any (Jewish)
tradition in Reform services. The entire format of the service from the
leadership to the music to the language to the lack of personal participation
is more church like than Jewish. Don't jump all over me because I am not
saying that Reform services lack spirituallity, content or prayerful
potential. I am pointing out that if you assert there is tradition it is not
I'm sorry to say...Jewish. Go to an orthodox shul and see if you know whats
going on or if you can follow? You'll see how Jewishly traditional Reform
services are.
