Mr. Greenberg is 100% aware that he should've sent his reply directly to
Craig, but periodically gets absent-minded and so busy with other things
that he forgets, and sometimes even embarrasses himself by responding to the
entire HN distribution.

He usually catches himself a fraction of a second after hitting the "send"
(enter) key.  He's still looking at computer catalogs to see if there's a
"whoops-take-that-message-back-I-goofed" key!  :-)
