[HANASHIR:5323] megillat esther

a question ... several of our congregants have expressed concern re: megillat 
ester.   When it's read in English ... according to some ... it is quite 
offensive.  When it's read in Hebrew few understand it.  It is our custom to 
read it in English ... what I've been sent on a mission for is a "contemporary" 
translation of esther.  Any ideas out there?
