[HANASHIR:5129] Re: trope info...



What I always liked about trope -- as I taught it to Bar and Bat Mitzvah 
students -- is that some of the trope symbols actually LOOKED like the notes 
they represented.  I often used hand signals to help the kids remember how a 
particular trope sounded.  For example, Kadma ve-Azla, goes up and then 
down...  Darga is shaped likes its sound, and T'vir curves downward then 
swings up...
