[HANASHIR:4929] female cantors

My understanding is that the student body of the cantorial institute at JTS
is currently made up of 80% females. I attended a very nice concert that
they staged last year in S.Florida and only recall two males in the
program. I have also been told that one of those males is no longer
pursuing the cantorate.
