Cool!
No, I don't find it incongruous. Being prepared to defend your country is
not incongruous with the desire not to have to ;-). If you look at songs
recorded by the Israeli armed forces ensembles you'll see both the
triumphalist, and the peace-hopeful songs.
Still, I'd love to know more about how/why this particular chorus found
that particular song.
