Hi, Batya, I think I had a message from you and it was inadvertently
erased; there isn't a whole lot of coincidence between Judeo-Spanish
ballads (by "Sephardic" I assume that's what you're referring to) and
the English-Scottish ballads, except a few pan-European ballads such as
The Husband's Return which exist in several traditions. Judith
