Ooops!

Hi again,

Of course, the Jewish label owners, song =
writers, producers, record promoters etc in R&B/soul were almost =
exclusively "back door" men/women-and since they were working within an =
essentially African-American musical tradition..

What I wanted to say was "behind-the-scenes" men and women. I'm not sure if 
"back door" means the same thing...judging by Clarence Carter's unforgettable 
Christmas tune "Back Door Santa" it probably doesn't!;-)
