My mother told me recently that my late grandma use to sing a funny yiddish
folk song about a man on his wedding night seeing his new bride start taking
off different things like a wig, her eyelashes, etc. and obviously is
bewildered by it. The only verse my mother can sing in Yiddish is translated
into Off comes the hair, off comes etc. If anyone could help me try to get a
name or lyrics, anything would be appreciated. Due to illness, she cannot
remember but thought it was the funniest song she ever heard. The bride was
taken off alot of false things and the groom is shocked. Thank you so much for
any response.
