Re: Jazz Musician Herbie Mann Went Back to His Roots

Thanks for this article! As it turns out, today I was asked to give a 
dedication speach in Herbie's honor at the final event of the National Flute 
Association and so I am grateful to have such a great article from which to 
cull 
information. 
What a guy! He was my "alternative" hero back in college days. i.e. I was Ms. 
Strictly Classical but loved his groovy ways :-)
