Ahmed Abdul Malik

I will be reviewing the new CD release from bass/oud player Ahmed Abdul 
Malik (1927-1993) which consists of 2 1961/62 LPs that integrate oud, 
cello and other non-traditional jazz instruments into a more 
traditional jazz approach. Intriguingly the notes to the 1962 album 
read ""In the near future we can expect to hear him playing.... some 
Jewish Music." Anyone know if this ever came off?....I havent found 
anything....thanks...Elliott
