I agree with you Ari ..I have been to many shows there and there are
times , when it has been packed and times when the musicians
outnumbered the patrons....as I think I mentioned in an earlier
post...it is just not the klezmer brunch that lacks for patrons at
times...I have also been to shows at the knitting factory "Old Office"
and other places both downtown and uptown...during the week, where the
crowds were sparse for very top flight bands....for me, seeing and
hearing klez and its current incarnations on the lower east side is a
treasure we all need to support and one that will hopefully
continue...one additional point...Tonic is close to public
transportation...The "F" train is about 500 feet from the
