The genre discussion doesn't seem to have much of a point. Genres don't exist
in and of themselves; people created the concept . Like many other creations
which depend on language, it's a very useful tool for certain kinds of things,
and isn't particularly useful for others. Or, it's very useful for some
people's work or interests, and not very much so for others. If they're not
relevant for you, well, you needn't worry about them. If they are, well, use
them. But naturally their definitions are fluid and open to discussion and
interpretation. It doesn't mean one is "pideon-holing" anything or imposing
jail bars on free-fñying mystical birds or anything; it's just a tool which can
be sed or not depending on the need or interest. Judith
