Heavens1--I meant Irwin, and countless others of his generation, himself--
surely not just the fact of laughing at the joke!  (Which indeed we need
to do ...)

   hi, while I appreciate RObert´s comments and concerns (and appreciate
   his compliment!) I doubt whether anyone who was contemplating leading
   a more kosher life abandoned the thought because of Irwin Silber's
   anecdote - and these days we need all the laughter we can get!
