Menashe Oppenheim

I am a great admirer of the recordings of Menashe Oppenheim, who I know was a 
Yiddish music and film artist in Poland in the 1920s and 1930s.   I'm 
starting to research more about his life.  Any insights are welcome, 
particularly about what happened to him during WWII.
