FREE OPEN HOUSE FOR JEFF WARSCHAUER'S THURSDAY NIGHT KLEZMER WORKSHOP 


A free open house for Jeff Warschauer's Klezmer Workshop will be held on 
Thursday, February 27, 2003 from 7:30-9:30 p.m., at Congregation Beth Elohim, 
8th Avenue and Garfield Place, Park Slope, Brooklyn.

The workshop offers a rare chance to learn klezmer repertoire and style

with one of the most active teacher/performers on the klezmer scene.


The six paid sessions will be held each Thursday, March 6 through April 10, 
7:30-9:30 p.m. at Beth Elohim.   All instrumentalists at an

intermediate level and up are welcome. The cost for the six sessions is $165 
for members of Congregation Beth Elohim, $185 for non-members.  


Guitarist/mandolinist and singer Jeff Warschauer performs and teaches klezmer 
music

worldwide.   A member of the Strauss/Warschauer Duo and the

Klezmer Conservatory Band, his award-winning music has been heard on HBO,

Public Radio International, and numerous recordings.
