Arranging ideas please

I've been asked to assist a school group with their klezmer project.

The band line-up is clarinet, violin, accordion, bass.

Any suggestions for arranging for this combination ?
They are interested in a traditional style.

>From my trip to Klezcamp West & Cracow many moons ago, I recall ideas such
as heterophony, octaves, minimising runs of thirds etc.

If clarinet is leading, violin can play contra chords, but if violin is
leading what's best for clarinet ? rhythm, countermelody ?

How much melody or countermelody would accordion or bass play ?

Any suggestions or references appreciated,

thankyou
