Re: Alter Karniol

There's a cassette available of the Greater Recording Co. LP
He's a VERY interesting cantorial artist of the pre-Golden Age era.
Fascinating modulations and vocal technique.

On Henry Sapoznick and Richard Nevins wonderful compilation, Mysteries of the
Sabbath: Classic Cantorial Recordings, 1907-47, there is a recording of the
cantor, Alter Yechiel Karniol. Does anyone have anything else by him? 78s? CDs?
Tapes?
Thanks,
Stuart
