Current viruses read =two= addresses from an infected person's address book. 
One address gets used as the "from" address. So, you can no longer make an easy 
connection between the person who allegedly sent the virus, and the person who 
is infected.

It is absolutely vital that list members (and anyone using e-mail) have 
anti-virus software installed, and keep that software current (at least weekly 
updates).
