Phillips is recognized as one of the world's foremost slide guitarists.
A master of both traditional playing and a virtuoso exploring and extending the
technical limits of the instrument.

Stacy is featured in performance with
The Afro-Semitic Experience, a group experimenting with jazz interpretations of
Afro-American Gospel and Jewish liturgical and klezmer musics.
The Afro-Semitic Experience is
David Chevan (bass),
 Mixashawn (tenor saxophone),
Baba David Coleman (percussion), and Noah Berman (piano).

The duet of Stacy and vocalist/guitarist Paul Howard perform Americana,
a spectrum of music celebrating
the cultural salad of the United States.

Join us
for an evening of
improvisation and virtuosity,
as together we explore the spiritual aspects that link musics from many
cultures.
