KM shows/AAJ-NY klez issue

KM has posted the following upcoming gigs on their website...I will be 
at the Vassar one...if anyone else is going would love to chat... also, 
I am going to try to go to Makor for the release party...The December 
show will feature music from the "Danzon de Moises" CD that we 
discussed on the list awhile back...The Vassar show celebrates the  
anniversary of David's first public performance of Klez on the same 
Vassar stage that he first played it on..The band at Vassar is slated 
to include Sheryl Bailey on guitar, Nicky Parrott on bass and Kevin 
Norton on drums.....All About Jazz-NY, the newspaper not the website, 
will be featuring Klezmer very heavily in the December issue with 
interviews, book reviews and cd reviews slated for a klez-jazz 
theme....I am scheduled to do a review of Yale Strom's "Book of 
Klezmer"....elliott
