Re: C Lanzbom plays Carlebach renditions

I has not heard of C Lanzbom before. I went to Tara and am now listening to
his "Beyond this World" album (which is the actual title of the album or at
least an album where he plays Shlomo Carlebach's music)

I fully agree with you. Maybe not about the waiting over 25 years part (-:),
but certainly that it is an exremely sensitive, tasteful album of
interpretations of music from such a master melody writer and communicator.
If I have a quibble it is that a little of the "neshoma" (soul) of Shlomo's
music is lost in the finesse, tastefullness and understatedness of Lanzbom.
But that is certainly a quibble. If you like guitar playing and Shlomo you
can't help but like this album.

Interestingly, all of the titles are in English, where, to the extent that I
know Shlomo's music, I know the titles in Hebrew.
