LATEST UPDATES FOR SHORASHIM LABOR DAY WEEKEND IN NYC

--------------------------------------------------------------------------
There will be live music with our Shorashim Ensemble and special guests.
Here is your opportunity to hear the classic Israeli folk songs played in
a traditional way for dancing.

Please note that the opening Friday evening of the Shorashim Labor Day
weekend is now scheduled for 8pm.

Those who are teachers (or aspiring teachers) of Israeli folkdance should
attend the session with Nitzhi Polat on Monday afternoon. His focus will
be on the teaching and styling of Israeli folk and ethnic dance (using
later classics as examples).

Vicky has landed and has brought with him a limited number of CD's that
include his dances, created especially for the weekend. He also has some
terrific t-shirts of his dances. These will be available at the weekend on
a first come, first serve basis.

Ben Hole has the video from Shorashim 2000 featuring the dances of Marco
Ben Shimon and it should also be available at the weekend.
