hi, to the best of my knowledge no Sephardic melody has been confirmed as
"medieval", or pre-expulsion, though several ballad melodies have been
related to similar melodies or at least melodic structures of later
peninsular SPanish traditions, i.e. the Renaissance, when Jews were
formally gone from Spain but many still lived there as Judaizing
