Khaverim --
As that great Jewish composer Vladimir Dukelsky (AKA Vernon Duke) would
have said, "Autumn in New York, what makes it feel so . . . . " Fill in
your own blank.
As some of you may recall, Jewish Week here in NYC does a fall arts
round-up, with yours truly writing on forthcoming musical events. If you
and/or your group are scheduled to play any gigs in the Apple between
Labor Day and Khanukah, please drop me a note off-line and I'll try to
see that you are included in the piece. I can't make any promises, of
course, but I hope to include anyone I hear from.
Many thanks,
George "If it's happening in Jewish music in New York City, I'm ignoring
it" Robinson
