The Jewish National and University Library (JNUL) is proud to announce
the accessibility of a small sample of digitized music from its
National Sound Archives: the Passover song "Echad mi yode'a" as sung
in a variety of different Jewish communities and languages. Twelve
variations of the song are described, and can be downloaded in MP3
format at: http://jnul.huji.ac.il/dl/music/passover/

The National Sound Archives at the JNUL contain more than 7000 hours
of recorded music representing all Jewish and Israeli communities. The
entire archive is now being systematically digitized which will insure
both preservation of the materials and better access for researchers.

This project is the second public stage in the JNUL's David and Fela
Shapell Family Digitization Project. Additional stages are in
preparation and will be announced in the near future.
