Re: new article on KCB/Judy Bressler

Just an aside, and in no way a criticism of Judy Bressler, whose singing has
often given me pleasure, When the KCB played at SUNY-Purchase during
Chanukah, we got a friend to join us who had somehow missed listening to
klezmer. She enjoyed herself, even though the concert was a less exciting
than most KCB performances because there was no place in the hall for
dancing. As we left, our friend commented that Judy Bressler didn't sound
like she learned Yiddish as a child. It shows that she was paying close
attention.
