shabbos night 12/23 statman plays

Hello, all,

Andy Statman will play at Tonic Saturday night 12/23 at 8 PM. One set,
around 8 PM (probably a little later). Also on the bill:

Uri Caine with Ben Perowsky & Steve Beskrone 
Ori Kaplan Quartet

This will be Andy's trio. Drums, bass, and Andy on clarinet and
mandolin. No frills, no fluff, solid virtuosity. 

Andy will also appear with Itzhak Perlman on January 10th at a benefit
for the Showa foundation, but since tables are $100,000 and dinner tix
start at $1,500, the 12 dollar Tonic admission doesn't sound too bad for
3 excellent bands led off by "tattih" Andy.
