Cornelis-- I'll have to go back to notes to check for info on the Kammens, but
it's always nice to have a new tsimbler on the list! What kind of tsimbl do
you have / where did you get it?

Dear Klezmer-friends,
I am new to this page, so a little information and some questions.
My name is Cor (Cornelis) van Sliedregt, age 54, living in the small
historical town Enkhuizen in The Netherlands. I am an amateur musician.
I play in a Dutch klezmer band with the name "Westfriese KLZMR banD"
More information of the band can be find on:
http://www.klezmershack.com/contacts/klezbands_w.html#band.westfriese
I play tsimbl and guitar.
I am searching for background information of the Kammen Brothers.
Where can I find this ?
Some questions are:
- Where did they come from ?
- Were they born in the US ?
- Were did they live?
- Was Kammen the real name or Amerikanised Russian name: something like
Kaminsky ?

Kammen Publishing Company p.101
Please be so kind to help me.
Thank you very much.
Cornelis.
