new audio cd book

Hi there.

The subject of burning CDs has been discussed frequently on this list and I
wanted to let those interested know that there is a new book available by
Bob Starrett and Josh McDaniel titled "The Little Audio CD Book" published
by Peachpit Press (isbn 0-201-70897-3). This "little" book is pretty
comprehensive about CD audio recording and includes information on restoring
vinyl and cassettes to CD, various software and hardware tools, a chapter on
legal (copyright) issues and just about everything you would ever want to
know about Audio CD recording. The authors seem to be fairly objective about
platforms and discuss solutions for Windows and Mac (they even mention Linux
a little, too!) and it's a good read so far. You can get more info at
