Re: Yippies

     Hey Leonard:
I'm much more of a Hippie than a Yippie. I was primarily referring to
an old Abbie Hoffman joke: What's a Yippie? And old Yiddishe Hippie.
I can't say that I know all that much about Zippy.
I know a bagel-baker in Chelsea, MA who answers to the name Zeppy
though.
My attachment to Hoffman is three-fold: a. under all his shticklach
was a caring person. b. Georgia Gibbs is his first cousin
c. He was a working-class Jew from Massachusetts...as I am.
As for the tuba question(back to music now)there is a wonderful
Janacek tuba concerto...sounds very Jewish...anybody know it?
I've been looking for it.
P.S. There are only 2 more weeks to National Chicken Month.
P.P.S.S. Yes, Ari I know it's Elul. Have you Elost your sense of
Elhumour?
      L'shanah Tovah, Everyone!!!!
      Trudi the G
