FALL SESSION OF KLEZMER WORKSHOPS TO BEGIN
AT THE WORKMEN'S CIRCLE/ARBETER RING
NEW YORK, September 5, 2000 - Acclaimed klezmer musician, composer and
Yiddish singer Jeff Warschauer will be continuing his series of wildly
popular klezmer
workshops at The Workmen's Circle, including a free "open house" session on
Tuesday, September 12 at 7:00.
The course is geared towards intermediate and advanced level students who
wish to gain ensemble experience. In past
courses, instruments have included the violin, clarinet, guitar, flute,
mandolin, alto sax, trombone, accordion, drums and piano - all instruments
are a welcome addition.
The Klezmer Workshop with Jeff Warschauer will meet Tuesday evenings from
7:00-9:00pm, beginning September 19 at The Workmen's Circle/Arbeter Ring
building at 45 East 33rd Street, between Park and Madison Avenues. The cost
for the six-week course is $150 for Workmen's Circle members,
