Misirlou: the tune that refuses to die

You'll recall that just recently, the Kronos Quartet recorded a new version
of "Misirlou" based on Dick Dale's hit surf-guitar version.
Well, I just got "Rocks the West," the new CD by the California Guitar Trio,
and amongst versions of Beethoven's Symphony No. 9, Queen's "Bohemian
Rhapsody," Duke Ellington's "Caravan" and Mussorgski's "Pictures at an
Exhibition" is......."Misirlou," based on Dale's surf-guitar version.
One of these days, SOMEONE"s gonna have a novelty hit with this
tune....again, and blow this klezmer thing wide open.
