Funny you should say that.  I was at the Greek festival here in June.  They 
were playing Ramo Ramo which I know as a cocek but the Greeks were all 
dancing a syrtos to it.

Did the Terkishe exist in Europe or was it added to the klezmer repertoire 
in America?
