well, i've always thought of kenny g as being kind of plastic.  plastic in a 
sense that he's kinda fake, but also in the sense that his music is sterile.  
i would find it hard to believe if his music really had much of an impact on 
someone's life.  i look forward to the day when it is admitted that smooth 
jazz is not jazz at all, and should not be called such.  --j.
